K-Lite Mega codec pack, install-setting: Profile 9: Lots of stuff (defaults).Įven happens after resetting settings to defaults in the install menu. If the video is paused when it has frozen, CPU usage stays at 50%, audio does pause as normal and resumes and normal when un-paused, but the video stays on the same frame, and as above, CPU usage goes to 100%. The first click to the seek-bar does change the current video frame.Įven if no seeking is done, video playback freezes after a few seconds and CPU usage is at 50%, then if MPC is closed by the close button, it does appear to close, but its process' CPU usage goes to 100% and have to stop the process. Once it freezes, CPU usage goes to 50%, and on a second click to the seek-bar, it goes to 100%.
On K-Lite Mega codec pack versions >=1490 MediaPlayeClassic video playback freezes when seeking forward or back by clicking on the seek-bar, but audio playback continues normally.
